The river Towy is famous for its salmon and sea-trout fishing. There is a wealth of wildlife in the area, including the occasional red-kite.
Our fishing stretch is located on the lower reaches of the Towy. approximately ¾ mile below Nantgaredig bridge on the B4310. It offers a length of water suitable for fly fishing in the fast flowing run, or spinning and worming in the deeper pools along the banks. This is privately run and offers approximately ¾ mile of mostly double bank fishing where Rod numbers are limited. We are easily accessible from the main A40 trunk-road, and are located 4 miles to the east from the famous market town of Carmarthen.

A public footpath runs past the farm and offers a beautiful walk along the river to the nearby village of Nantgaredig.
Local places of interest include The National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens which are within 5 miles and a drive of 20 minutes will take you to Pembrey Country Park with its extensive, safe sandy beach, woodland walks and other facilities. There is also a good selection of Pubs and restaurants within a few minutes’ drive of the farm.
